Heats up quicklly, doesn't burn hair
Pros: good features, bargain priced

I got this by recommendation of my stylist. Ceramic flat irons heat up very quickly and don't burn hair (watch out for ears though!)

Nearly every hair type can benefit from a flat iron. I have straight hair and use this for natural looking flips and waves. The 1" is perfect for that. If you're trying to straighten curly hair, however, you should consider a wider flat iron which will be more efficient.

Additionally, although this has 20 different heat settings, the bottom 10 of those are pretty useless, unless you want to make your hair nice and cozy without any intention of getting it hot enough to style.

Not a 5 star product because a) I only give 5 stars if a product wows me and b) there are models that heat up faster.

Overall, a good bargain, and a good product for people looking to style more than straighten.

Great Flat Iron!
I have thick, wavy hair that falls below my shoulders. It's layered, with the shortest layer to my chin. I also have a few fringes that fall at eye level. This flat iron is better than the 2" Conair that I had for years that finally died. I would agree that it seems a wider iron would work faster but it really doesn't, nor does it work ay better. In fact I think this one works better than the wider one. It doesn't dry my hair out as much (if you think about how much time your hair spends exposed to the heat on each width plate, it makes sense) I also find it's easier to make the flips with the 1". It gets the short pieces just as nicely as the longer pieces. It heats up quickly and I do just fine on 15. The comb attachment is a waste of time in my opinion, mostly due to its tangling capabilities. I love that it has a lock on it and it's very light; makes it great for traveling. I hope this helps!

The flat Iron works perfectly well with plenty of heat. The ad is deceiving because the iron does not produce any steam, the steam comes from your hair if you leave it wet. For the price, you can't beat this product. It is about 1/4 the prices of similar products.

I have bought 4 of these straightners. One for a granddaughter, one for my daughter, one for my step-daughter and one for myself. It is not steam as it says, but what a great straighter. It has worked wonders on everyone's hair. Curly, fine, straight or thick, it doesn't make any difference. It is quick and good.

Worked for my small cat

Quite pleased with this pet dryer. The stand is very sturdy. I like the three heat settings and cool shot. Thought it was a little bit louder than advertised. Only a bit quieter than a regular human dryer.

Not sure
When I first got this straightener I loved it. I had it a couple of months, but something is wrong... After it heats up the handle to hold the straightener gets so hot I can barely touch it. It was a GREAT item minus this one problem. The temp stayed the correct temp throughtout the entire process and I have alot of hair. I might buy another one but if I have to keep buying it over and over then I might as well invest in a chi.
